Post Date: 6th September 2009. Post Title : Summer leaving us, August brings new flowers
With the Summer months coming to a close, we can almost taste the damp freshness of the Autumn days upon us. Not only do we get shorter days, more rain and the leaves falling to garden, we also get a different kind of choice when it comes to buying flowers.Out go the more vibrant colours from the warmer months and in come the rich, deeper shades that match the shades we see in the trees and foliage. More popular types of accessory when arranging Autumn bouquets are things like twigs and berries.
Traditional Sheffield Flowers for this season are popular well known kinds such as Chrysthanthemums, Freesia, Gerbera, also Orchids and Roses. We will shortly be posting some information on how to arrange these in fashionable ways.
